University Don Calls On Governments To Enact Laws To Regulate Operations On Cyber Security

The Federal and State governments has been charged to as a matter of urgency take proactive measures to enact laws that will regulate operational activities on cyber security in the country.
A Professor of Cyber Security, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Professor Ismail Idris, gave the charge while speaking with newsmen shortly after the inaugural lecture to celebrate his professorship in Minna.
Professor Idris who is of the department of cyber security science, said he has being with the department for over two decades and has contributed greatly on how people can be able to guide the principles and ideas of how to operate cyber security.
He also called on the government to establish more institutions responsible to educate Nigerians on how to curtail eventualities on cyber security networks in the country.
Professor Ismail Idris, who was one-time National Vice President of cyber security, also advised government to do the needful to create awareness on the benefits and importance of cyber security network, especially now that the world is currently on digital.
Also in his remarks, Navy Captain Isah Ramosy used the forum to advice the youths to be creative in order for them to be self-reliance and self-employed with the use of technology.
Navy Captain Isah who is a professional on cyber security also called on the government to encourage youths to be creative and innovative for them to be able to harness the potential of cyber security network in the country.
